It was Dr. Zach’s own experience at the dental office growing up that inspired him to become the top-rated dentist he is today! For him, providing comfortable, convenient, and affordable dentistry is extremely rewarding. After all, it’s about so much more than teeth – it’s about improving another person’s quality of life!
Previously, Dr. Zach attended the University of Florida (Go Gators!), which is where he earned his undergraduate degree. From there, he completed his dental doctorate at Nova Southeastern University. Throughout the years, he has continued to prioritize advanced training and additional education. That way, he can provide his patients with the absolute best dental care.
When he isn’t at the office, you’ll most likely find Dr. Zach spending time with his wife (who is also a dentist!) and their children. He also loves watching Shark Tank, cheering on the Florida Gators, playing soccer at the Inwood Soccer Center in Addison, and working out.
Here’s something you may not know about Dr. Zach: he hosts his own podcast called “The Disillusioned Dentist.” So far, his content has covered everything from his experience owning a dental office to what life after graduating from dental school is like!

The first step is to call an emergency dentist as quickly as possible. Notifying a professional should be your top priority, as team members will work in a timely manner to schedule an emergency appointment the same day.
When choosing Midtown Family Dentistry of Dallas, you can also expect our dental team to provide at-home tips to help you manage the pain and whatever situation you are currently dealing with.
The important thing to consider is that you should never put off emergency dental care. Even if you think it’s minor or will “heal on its own,” it’s better to see a dentist near you for treatment.
Based on a population of roughly 19,000 people who live in Addison, there are anywhere from 7 to 11 dentists in the area. Although this may not seem like many, the reality is that, as a patient, you do have options. However, some reasons make Midtown Family Dentistry of Dallas stand out among all the others, such as:
Many patients forgo seeing a dentist because they believe it is too expensive. However, you should never skip, cancel, or neglect your regular dental checkups and cleanings or emergency oral healthcare. The longer you wait to seek treatment, the worse your problem(s) will become.
If you have dental insurance, use it. This is the best and most convenient way to save money when visiting the dentist’s office. If you are uninsured, you’ll be pleased to learn that we not only accept CHIP and Medicaid for patients under the age of 18, but we also have an in-house dental plan that requires a one-time annual fee and provides complementary treatments and discounts on various services.
We also offer flexible financing through CareCredit and Sunbit.
To become a dentist that practices in the United States, it is necessary for individuals to receive a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or a Doctor of Dental Sciences (DDS) degree from one of the 67 accredited dental schools. But before a dental degree can be achieved, a person must obtain a bachelor’s degree with high grades in math and science.
A typical duration for dental school is three years with both classroom and hands-on learning. For those who prefer to specialize in a specific area of dentistry, additional education and training are required. Currently, the American Dental Association (ADA) recognizes 12 specializations. These commonly require an additional three years of “dental school” training.
Also, dentists are required to complete continuing education hours to maintain their licensure.
