Get to Know Dr. Jason Nguyen
Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, Dr. Jason Nguyen is thrilled to be back home serving the community that shaped him. He earned his undergraduate degree from The University of Texas at Austin (B.S.A.), his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) from Texas A&M College of Dentistry, and his orthodontic certificate and Master of Science from UT Health San Antonio, where he served as chief resident (M.S.).
Why Did You Decide to Become an Orthodontist?
For Dr. Nguyen, orthodontics is about more than straight teeth. His favorite part of the job is watching a patient see their new smile for the first time and seeing the confidence that comes with it. Whether it's a teen who finally smiles freely in photos or an adult who has waited years to love their smile, he believes a confident smile can change the way people show up in the world. He brings that goal to every patient through clear, compassionate communication and a modern, efficient approach to treatment.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Outside the office, you might find Dr. Nguyen weight training at the gym, watching true crime documentaries, going to music concerts, or planning his next cheat meal. He's always happy to swap restaurant recommendations, documentary suggestions, or travel stories with patients at any time!
